As the Director of the SACSS Young Professionals Committee (YPC), Saranya leads efforts to mobilize young professionals to give back to underserved communities. She is a Strategy Consultant at EY-Parthenon, advising organizations on growth and impact across multiple sectors. A graduate of the University of Chicago, Saranya is based in Manhattan. She enjoys trying new cuisines and yoga.

Akhil serves as the Strategic Vision Lead for SACSS YPC and is excited to support SACSS’s mission of program access and social mobility. As a Strategy Consultant at EY-Parthenon in the education practice, he partners with institutions to strengthen outcomes and broaden impact. Akhil holds a B.S. in Business from Indiana University and is currently based in Manhattan.

Alternative Investment Analyst at BlackRock
Ankita is the Fundraising Lead for SACSS YPC, where she supports the organization’s growth and long-term sustainability. She works as an Alternative Investment Analyst at BlackRock and is motivated by opportunities to combine financial rigor with community impact. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Ankita earned a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and now resides in New York City. She enjoys running and cooking in her free time.

Sadaf is the Partnerships & Liaison Lead for SACSS YPC. She is a community organizer who has led initiatives focused on professional development, advocacy, and community engagement. Based in Queens, she is motivated by opportunities to strengthen mission-driven organizations through collaboration and meaningful partnerships. Sadaf currently works as an Appointments staff member on Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s Transition Team.

Community Engagement Lead

EMT at Flushing Hospital
Sapan is the Community Engagement Lead for SACSS YPC and a dedicated healthcare professional focused on community health and advocacy. He works as an EMT at Flushing Hospital, responding to emergencies throughout the Flushing area, and aspires to attend medical school. Sapan studied Public Health at New York University and is proud to support SACSS’s mission through hands-on service.
