On Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 (5pm-6pm ET), Sushmita Diyali, Senior Manager of Health Services, SACSS, will be contributing to the panel discussion and conversation on South Asian American community experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, hosted by the NYU Center for the Study of Asian American Health (CSAAH). In this one hour discussion, SACSS and sister organizations: the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), the Coalition for Asian American Children + Families (CACF), the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF) will not only converse about South Asian American community experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic but also conduct a deeper conversation about health care access.
The panel will be moderated by Medha Ghosh, Health Policy Coordinator, CACF and will include panelists:
