On Nov. 7th, we experienced a truly significant day at SACSS! We were deeply honored to host the immensely talented twice Grammy-nominated artist Chandrika Tandon, whose visit left a lasting impact on our community members with her joyous and divine music!

From the moment Chandrika stepped into the SACSS Senior Center, her warmth and enthusiasm ignited the space. The sight of everyone singing along harmoniously with her was blissful. This moment was a beautiful reflection of our discussions at SACSS about the therapeutic power of music, a topic that resonates deeply with us all.

We are so grateful to have had Chandrika visit SACSS. Her presence brought so much exuberance as she toured our tailoring class, explored the food pantry, and shared a beautiful, memorable moment with our seniors.
Thank you, Chandrika, for being such an incredible champion for our community! We also extend our heartfelt congratulations on her second Grammy nomination for the album Triveni, made with Floutist Wouter Kellerman and cellist Eru Matsumoto, a testament to her talent and dedication to her craft!
