The South Asian Council for Social Services (SACSS) is honored to receive a letter of appreciation from Marcos Bucio, Consul General of Mexico in New York, recognizing SACSS’s work to connect New Yorkers with health insurance navigation and essential community resources.

The letter follows a historic meeting between Consul General Bucio and President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo during her visit to the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final. During their conversation, President Sheinbaum expressed her appreciation for organizations working to strengthen the health, dignity, and well-being of Mexican families and asked that her recognition be conveyed to community partners.
