SACSS Healthcare Team Empowers Seniors with Valuable Information on Medicare Coverage

Understanding the intricacies of the healthcare system can be overwhelming. On April 16, they conducted an engaging session that gave participants valuable information about Medicare health insurance coverage.

During the presentation, our seniors gained valuable insights into the Medicare Savings Program (MSP), a subset of Medicaid designed to help low-income people afford their Medicare costs. They also learned about the types of MSPs, eligibility, qualifications, and how to apply for coverage, equipping them with the knowledge to take control of their healthcare.
