SACSS Honored With NYU Community Leadership Award!

SACSS is honored to receive the 2022 Local Regional Community Action Leadership Award from The NYU Center for the Study of Asian American Health (CSAAH), in partnership with the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF). SACSS will receive the award as part of the Tenth Biennial Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AA and NH/PI) Health Conference, Rooted, Resilient, and Rising, which will take place virtually on June 7 and 8, 2022.

The Local Regional Community Action Leadership Award recognizes individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to improving the health of AA and NH/PI communities and individuals. NYU CSAAH has chosen SACSS to receive this award in recognition of our organizational efforts to empower South Asian and immigrant communities across New York City – and in particular, our impactful social services, tailored programs and high-touch social support.
