SACSS staff join Community Health Advocates and NYS legislators for Advocacy Day in Albany

On January 31st, SACSS’ Health Services Senior Manager Sushmita Diyali and Health Services Program Manager Maria Ariza joined with other members and colleagues from the Community Service Society of New York (CSS) (Community Health Advocates/CHA) in order to take part in Advocacy Day at the state capital, Albany, New York.

Sushmita and Maria met with New York State (NYS) legislators, including NYS Assembly Member Phil Ramos and NYS Assembly Member Edward Braunstein with several of our colleagues from other CHA organizations.

Since 2010, CHA has handled over 472,000 healthcare access cases and has saved Americans over $154 million in medical bills and other medical costs.
