Citizenship Law Panel

SACSS partnered with CUNY Citizenship Now! to host an online Legal Panel on March 22, 2022. The panel featured a Q&A with CUNY Citizenship Now! Staff Attorney, Wilfred Zamora, and was moderated by SACSS Director of Family Support Services, Mary Archana Fernandez. Wilfred answered audience members’ questions related to citizenship, immigration law, family based petitions, naturalization, DACA, TPS, and more. Hindi and Bangla translation was available for this Q&A Portion.  

This event was presented in recognition of the evolving and growing needs of the immigrant community that SACSS serves. Special thanks to the office of Councilmember James F Gennaro for their partnership on this much-needed service. ​​“I am thrilled to partner with SACSS and CUNY Citizenship Now! to host this virtual panel on the naturalization process,” said Council Member James F.
