SACSS Featured in Health Equity Case Study

SACSS recently partnered with the NYU Center for the Study of #Asian American Health (CSAAH) on research highlighting the importance of community organizations in the well-being of communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research paper, “COVID-19 and Asian Americans: Reinforcing the Role of Community-Based Organizations in Providing Culturally and Linguistically Centered Care,” was published this March in Health Equity.

The paper underscores the impact COVID-19 has had on Asian American communities, an issue lacking representation in public health discourse.

Researchers at NYU worked with a National Advisory Committee to summarize how community organizations like SACSS merit increased support for their role in supporting Asian American health and well-being. You can read about CSAAH’s findings here.
