SACSS Seniors Visit the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Discovering a World of Wonder and Beauty
Armed with curiosity and enthusiasm, they marveled at the Japanese Hill-and-Pond, taking in the scenic views of the cherry blossoms and, of course, capturing the moment in a photo with their peers.
It was a day brimming with joy, exploring the Lily Pool Terrace where tulips burst into a kaleidoscope of colors, and venturing into the conservatories, including the Bonsai Museum, Trail of Plant Evolution, and the Tropical Pavilion, all the while, sharing laughter and camaraderie.
The garden is a true oasis in the middle of the bustling city. As they walked, they couldn’t help but feel a sense of peace and tranquility, savoring the moment of being surrounded by nature and fresh air. It was a memorable experience that brought smiles to their faces and was “one of the best trips they’ve taken” with SACSS.
